Located in the far North Side of the city (9 miles N of the Loop), the West Ridge community is recognized as one of Chicago’s most dynamic and diverse neighborhoods. Historically the West Ridge area has also been referred to as North Town, as well as West Rodgers Park (referencing the area’s location being west of Rodgers Park).
