About South Chicago

The South Chicago (formerly Ainsworth) community is located 10 miles Southeast of the Loop. Originally known as a steel manufacturing hub, today the South Chicago area is well recognized for its lakeside parks, ample outdoor green space, restaurants, and businesses. Residents much appreciate the community’s splendid skyline views, lakeside access, and scenic paths. Not to mention the area’s continued development and access to public transport as well.
