About Gage Park

Located in the city’s Southwest side, only 7 miles southwest of the Loop, the Gage Park neighborhood is best known for its community-oriented feel and many bungalow style homes. Attributing in large part to its strong sense of community is the neighborhood’s 25-acre recreational space, home to a grand park and field house that shares the name of the area (Gage Park & Gage Park Field House). The Gage Park neighborhood offers a variety of dining options, local shops, recreational outdoor space, and access to transportation as well.
